  • What happens if I have to cancel my booking because of COVID-19?

    These are challenging times for everyone and we know how difficult it is to make plans for the Summer. We also understand how important it will be to have a holiday this year and enjoy life once restrictions have been lifted.

    We are therefore delighted to announce that anyone who needs to cancel their holiday for a reason listed below will be offered a full refund on their booking.

    1. The campsite is closed due to Government restrictions
    2. Government restrictions prevent you from travelling to the Long Meadow Campsite
    3. You cannot travel to Long Meadow Campsite due medical reasons relating to COVID-19.

    We hope this will allow you book with confidence and look forward to a more normal life this Summer.

  • What are the Campsite rules?

    No loud music at any time
    No noise after 10.00pm
    No vehicle movement between 10.30pm – 7.30am
    No BBQs after 9pm
    No open fires or wood burning (includes crackle logs).

  • Are there laundry facilities?

    Yes – we have a washer and dryer in our shower block. Buy your tokens from reception.

  • Are Dogs allowed at New Park?
    Dogs are welcome at Long Meadow, we allow a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.
    Dogs must be well behaved and kept on the lead at all times when on site.  Once through the campsite gate, dogs have miles of open forest to explore.
    Please note, you cannot bring any banned breeds of dog to Long Meadow and New Park, even with a certificate of exemption.
  • Are Group bookings allowed?

    Small family groups may be considered, please contact the wardens to discuss further.
    Unfortunately no stag or hen parties or underage groups are allowed.
    Maximum of 5 pitches per group booking.

  • What time is check in and departure?

    You can check in to Long Meadow between 2.00pm – 8.00pm during summer and 1.00pm – dusk during early or late season.
    Latest check in time 8.00pm.
    All departures are by 11.00am.

  • Is there chemical waste disposal point?

    Yes – located within the main toilet and shower block

  • Are there shops nearby?

    Brockenhurst village is a five minute car drive away or a 35 minute stroll across the beautiful open forest. The village has a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, take aways and a train station with direct links to Southampton, Bournemouth, Lymington and more.

  • Are BBQs allowed?

    BBQs are permitted if they are raised off the ground, there are bricks available for your use at the campsite. Please note BBQs are not permitted after 9pm.

  • How do I find Long Meadow Campsite?

    From Lyndhurst …….. Follow the A337 in the village, it is a one way system. At the end of the High Street turn onto the A337 signposted Brockenhurst/Lymington then stay in the left hand lane.  After 3 miles you will see a brown tourist sign indicating a right turn into Long Meadow Campsite.
